By using this website you confirm that you accept these terms of use and agree to comply with them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. We may update these terms from time to time; the version published here is the one that applies.
Home for Holiday is a directory. We list holiday properties and link to the owners’ own websites so you can deal with them directly. We do not sell, let or book accommodation, and we are not party to any booking. Please read our disclaimer, which forms part of these terms.
Content on this site is provided for general information only. While we take reasonable care, we make no representations or warranties, express or implied, that the content is accurate, complete or up to date. Property details are supplied by owners and may change without notice.
The design, layout, text, graphics and branding of this website, together with the selection, arrangement and compilation of the directory, are owned by us or licensed to us and are protected by copyright and database rights. You may view and print pages for your own personal use, but you may not otherwise reproduce or exploit them without our permission.
Property names, logos, photographs and descriptions belong to the respective property owners or their licensors and are used to identify and link to their listings. We claim no ownership of them. If you own a property featured here and would like your listing or imagery amended or removed, contact us at hfh.travel@outlook.com and we will action it promptly.
Where we link to third-party sites, those links are provided for your information only. We have no control over their contents and accept no responsibility for them or for any loss arising from your use of them.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Subject to that, we will not be liable to you for any loss or damage, whether in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise, arising out of or in connection with: your use of, or inability to use, this website; your reliance on any content on it; or any booking, stay, dispute or dealing between you and a property owner. In particular we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, bookings, revenue, data or goodwill.
If you list a property with us, you confirm you are entitled to let it and that the information and imagery you supply are accurate and yours to use. We may decline, amend or remove any listing at our discretion. Where a paid entry applies, the specific terms, price and duration will be agreed with you in writing before payment.
Browsing this website is free. A paid directory unlock gives you access to the direct link through to each property owner’s own website for 30 days from the moment your payment is confirmed.
The price is £5.95. VLA Media Ltd is not VAT registered, so no VAT is charged and the price you see is the price you pay. Payment is taken by Stripe; we never see or store your card details. The unlock is a one-off purchase — it does not automatically renew, and you will not be charged again unless you choose to buy again.
Your unlock is personal to you. Signing in is done with a six-digit code sent to the email address you paid with, so you can use your access on your own phone, tablet and computer. Please do not pass your codes to anyone else or publish the contents of the directory — the collection is what you have paid for, and it is what we sell.
Access is tied to the email address you buy with, and may be used on up to three of your own devices. It is for your personal use and is not transferable. Automated collection, scraping or bulk extraction of the directory is not permitted, and we may suspend access where we detect it.
You are buying access to a directory of independent property owners. We are not the owner, agent or booking provider for any property listed. Any booking, payment, contract or dispute in respect of a stay is strictly between you and the property owner. We do not guarantee that a given property will be available, nor that any owner will respond.
Because this is digital content supplied immediately, at checkout you are asked to agree that access begins straight away and to acknowledge that you therefore lose the 14-day right to cancel that would otherwise apply under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. If you do not give that consent, we cannot supply the unlock immediately.
Your legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are unaffected. If the access you paid for is not provided as described — for example the sign-in code does not arrive, access does not activate, or the service is materially unavailable — contact us and we will put it right or refund you in full.
Because the directory is a curated list that changes over time, we do not refund simply because a particular property is no longer listed, an owner does not reply, or the directory did not contain what you hoped. Refund requests should be sent to hfh.travel@outlook.com within 30 days of purchase, and approved refunds are returned to the original payment method, normally within 5–10 working days.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
